So what exactly is in the course?
- Change: Acknowledging that this is a major change in your family’s life, acknowledging the journey that will take place.
- Know Your WHY: I present the evidence supporting less time on screens (don’t worry, I make it easy to understand) so that you can form your own reasons ‘WHY’ you want to cut back.
- Setting a screen time goal: which is specific to your family’s own situation.
- Deciphering PLAY; absolutely KEY to success in this process.
- Practical tips and resources that will support your children’s play.
- Self care for YOU; YOU are the most important cog in this! We talk about maintaining your sanity during the process of cutting back your kids’ screen time.
Who is the course for?
The course is written for parents of preschoolers. The early years of life are so important to set up children for life success. Yet they can be incredibly challenging, isolating years to navigate as a parent. As a parent of preschoolers myself, I know this and can relate!
While you are navigating these early years you don’t need another “expert” telling you not to plonk your kids in front of the TV. I know this.
What you need is support, practical advice on how to create real change for your family, and a cheerleader. That’s why I’ve written this course FOR YOU.
Your family will benefit in amazing ways when you reduce your kids’ screen time. Your kids will be better off in the long run. You CAN do this.
Parents of primary aged children, other age groups, Grandparents, or other interested groups (such as health professionals) are welcome to join the course too. Just know that the basis of the information will be aimed towards parents of preschoolers.
How much will it cost?
The usual release price will be $197NZD (release date August 1st).
Please know that you are getting a bucket-load of information and support for this price, from a registered health professional with specific training in early childhood development and a post graduate certificate in lifestyle change. Not to mention a few years of parenting experience as a Mum of three screen-free kids.
What price would you put on your children’s future? For them to be able to play independently, to not nag for the TV or iPad each day, for happier more content kids who are developing with absolutely the most potential they can?
In June 2017 I cut my kids’ screen time right back from 2 hours a day to about 2 hours a week. At the time I had a 6 month old, 2 year old, and 4 year old. At first it was hard cutting it back, really hard. The older two kids were addicted.
But it WORKED. I want to share this success and help YOU achieve it too!
